It is about the movie "Into the wild". I watched the movie first then went to this web site, so what attract me is probably the story itself more than the design of the web site. But I think it well expresses the idea of the movie, especially nature which is the one of the main theme of this movie. They use the beautiful photos of nature in two layers like foreground and background, and move them in different speed. So we feel the depth of field in a flat screen. Also I'm not sure whether they do it on purpose or not, but I feel more bigger scale in the over size photos which I need to scroll to see all of them.
